Owner’s Jay and Lauren Smith opened The Buckle in 2023 as a place for music lovers of all ages to gather. Jay’s music industry background has helped foster a welcoming environment for local artists to perform through the open mic nights and weekly events.  The Buckle also regularly hosts concerts and events for bands passing through Kingston. 

       The Buckle’s welcoming atmosphere and collection of memorabilia has made it a regular watering hole for locals as well as an entertaining spot for people passing through. Jay and Lauren hope to keep bringing the country to downtown Kingston for many more years to come!
